A peaceful location with all the amenities offered by the big marinas

Captain John’s Marina is a small marina at his private residence. As such it provides a very quiet and peaceful location with all the amenities offered by the big marinas and only a short distance from all the facilities the Rio Dulce has to offer.

At Captain John’s Marina and included in the moorage fee we open all boats Monday thru Friday weather permitting to keep the interior from building up heat and humidity.  We find this far preferable to de-humidifiers which often fail. We also check regularly for leaks both from above and below, we check batteries at least once a month, sometime more often if necessary.  For a small additional charge we will periodically wash the outside and clean inside as desired.
